Our weekend

This technically wasn't part of the weekend, but we finally got a rug for our living room!

I'm so excited to have a soft spot since the whole living area is hard wood. 

We had our eye on this rug when we first bought our house, but 

we never wanted to spend the money. 

Then we were at lowes and they were half off!! 

So we had to go for it. And I'm glad we did :) 

(Don't mind our gold blinds.. one project at a time haha)

We also got Micah some sand for his sand turtle..

We found this turtle for free on ksl (we REALLY love ksl haha)

And we got it, but then didn't get sand for a while

because for some reason we thought it would be expensive..

Turns out a 50 lb bag of sand is like 3 dollars haha

Micah LOVES playing in the sand.  

He will do it for hours.

win :)

Now to get on to the actual weekend..

We got cousins this weekend which always makes it a good one! 

And who says mamma's can't match their little boys? 

Saturday was a day of running around.. 

At one point Matt had to go pick up something and there was 

no room in the car for me and Micah.

So we went on a jog.

I cannot get over these trees!!!

Annnd this is what Matt went to pick up. 

An outside table!

Cause our favorite thing is eating outside. 

And we got a steal of a deal.

So to celebrate we grilled out 

Going to church with cousins is lots of fun

Micah has decided that walking on the sidewalk is boring,

but walking on little tiny strips of cement is really exciting

Anytime we open the door he goes straight to the sand 

Another one from church.. All during Sacrament meeting it is a serious struggle

to get him to sit with us.  All he wants to do is run up to the podium.  

My brother says he just really wants to bear his testimony haha 

So anyways after church is over Micah goes back into the chapel and 

all he wants to do is sit on the chairs.. Really??
