The Spencer Adventure: An 18 month old Micah!!

My baby is a year and a half old!!

That's old!

And you know what that means..

It means I'm about to show you a Ton of pictures!

So get comfy :)

Micah is a 21 lbs big.

or is that little? haha

I took him into the doctor cause I was scared he had an ear infection.

They weighed him but that was it, and then when I went to

make his 18 month well check appointment they said oh we don't need to see him till

he is two.. Kinda cool, but at the same time I was really looking forward to seeing

where he was on the charts.

I'm sure there is a way I can look all that up tho..

So we just recently cut Micah's hair and these pictures were before that.

I really liked his long hair.. But after several people thought he was a girl (really?? haha) we figured it was time.

So here he is with his short hair.

I figured I'd take him outside to get some good pictures.. ha! like he would give the

camera the time of day when there was a whole outside world to be explored.

So I got lots of action shots.

He was really into throwing this dirt.

I put him up on his turtle sand box and he was not a fan

Anyways, here are a few facts about an 18 month old Micah:

#1 He loves outside (clearly) his favorite thing to do is walk down the sidewalk.

One day I just followed him to see how far he would go.. He walked so far that I finally had to pick him up and bring him home cause it was getting late and he was never going to stop!

#2 He has said a few words, but once he says them once he doesn't usually repeat them. The only word he says consistently is "wow" (that counts right?) and "dada" He does say mama every once and while. He has said ball and apple before, but only a couple times.

He loves to talk though. He jabbers all day long.. So much that he doesn't really have

time fore real words.

#3 He throws EVERYTHING. Shoes, books, food, dirt, his toys, you name it, it has been thrown.

#4 When he knows he isn't supposed to do something he says "no no" and then continues to do it.

#5 He LOVES pacis. If he already has one and he finds another one he will try and suck on them both haha

#6 He is pretty much obsessed with shoes. He likes to try on daddy's shoes and he likes to find his own shoes and carry them around the house and line them up in little rows.

#7 There is basically nothing he loves more then his bear. He carries him all around even though the bear is as big as he is. He even has this special little giggle every time he sees the bear.

Bear would go with us everywhere if Micah had his way.

#8 Sometimes after watching me workout he will get down and attempt some sit ups

#9 Micah LOVES feeding us. I don't know why he loves it so much, but he will feed us all of his food even if he's starving haha. This is is "open up cause I'm going to feed you now" face. It's really cute until he sucks on the food, tries to feed it to you, and then throws a fit if you won't eat it haha

#10 He went through a little stage where he was scared of taking a bath.. (maybe it's the green tub?) but now he is back to loving them.

#11 He loves to play on the couch! He runs around and falls down and sometimes this happens to his hair.

#12 working out with him around is real tricky. Sometimes he sits on my face..

Or he demands to be held, or he lays on me. I really should workout while he is sleeping..

But instead I hold him. An extra 21 pounds can only help right?

#13 Sometimes he really hates it when Matt and I cuddle. Last night we were all in his room reading books. He was doing his own things so I went and cuddled up to Matt and Micah started screaming and came and pushed us apart! haha So of course we tried it over and over and each time he would give us a dirty look and pull us apart. Such a character! He would make a good chaperon though.

#14 One of my very favorite things is that he is learning to fold his arms.

It is so cute and it makes me so happy!

At the end of the prayer he unfolds his arms and says his little version of amen (its different every time) and then he holds his arms out for hugs and kisses.
