Our President's day adventure

This past Monday was President's day which meant no school! 

Unfortunately it didn't mean no homework,and Matt still worked, but we still found time to have a little adventure. 

We decided to go to Idaho Falls because we wanted to get grocery's and its always fun to get out of the house. 

Side note.. notice the sock in the left of the picture? There are little socks ALL over

my house.   We put socks on Micah's hands when he sleeps, and then we bring him 

downstairs and take them off.  And then of course Micah is always pulling

off his socks.. It makes for a lot of socks all over. haha anyways..

So as we were driving we realized that we should have brought our stroller.. When we got there we went into the mall and Matt was carrying Micah in his car seat.  We quickly realized that carry the car seat everywhere was going to be a huge pain.  

So we thought why not buy one of those cheap umbrella strollers?  we have been wanting a little one anyways that we could take places easier.  So we went to ross cause it was close, but there was only a pink one.  Then we went to walmart and found one that we wanted.  It was in a box, but we figured it was just folded up in there.. So we opened it up in the arcade room (haha) and realized that it required assembling. 

So here we are in the arcade room building our stroller. haha I thought it was funny. 

But it was totally worth it.  Micah loved being able to look around everywhere we went and we loved not having to carry him!

Oh I almost forgot. That trip to walmart was one of Micah's first times to be out of car seat. 

He thought it was pretty cool to be able to look around. 

So after all that craziness we headed back to the mall. 

The new stroller was awesome and Micah was just in awe of all the new things to look at!

He eventually fell asleep in his little stroller.  It was super cute.  But then we had to wake him up and take him out in the wind to the car.  Poor little guy.  

Once he was awake he decided it was time to have a blow out.  we happened to be by a carls junior so I ran in and changed his diaper and cloths.  After all that craziness we decided to just eat there. 

And then to finish it all of we went and did our grocery shopping. 

I have this thing about putting Micah's car seat in the little seat place on shopping carts.. So we just pile our grocery's around and on top of him haha

And that's how we spent our holiday!  It was super fun to have a little family time away from homework :)
