Easter Weekend

We had such a great weekend!

We got to have Matt's sister and mom come and 

stay with us! So much fun :)

So on Friday we had a Micah's first Easter egg hunt

Then Saturday was conference and my mother-in-law's birthday

So we watched the first session and then we headed

to the zoo to celebrate! 

(I'm super grateful that we can re-watch and study conference)

obviously the lions were way cooler then looking at the camera 

This was Micah's first time to the zoo!

I was freaking out I was so excited haha

He liked it best when we would just let him run around without holding him

We thought he would get so excited over this awesome polar bear!

But he didn't even care! haha he just walked away 

When did my baby turn into a toddler?? 

After the zoo we went to get some birthday cupcakes

I want this one mom! 

The next day was Easter Sunday! 

I had SO much fun with Easter this year. 

I almost didn't do anything till I realized that Micah

is old enough to enjoy it all this year.

So I made him a little Easter basket

His favorite part were these little boxes of stickers

Easter egg hunts and Easter baskets are so much fun but I am so grateful for the 

true meaning of Easter! I'm so grateful for my Savior! His sacrifice for us is what makes

everything worth while! He has given us hope and joy and purpose. 

I love spring and contemplating on what he has done for us :)

In between sessions of conference we had a bunch of family over to more birthday celebrating :)

We also had a little mid conference Easter egg hunt! 

It was so fun to have a bunch of family over! 

We love being able to host things like this.
