Valentine's Day!

These past couple weeks have been a whirlwind of awesomeness! 

We have been having a ton of fun, but it's finally starting

to calm down so I'm excited to write about it :)

This Valentine's day topped all the rest!

Matt is so amazing.

He always finds a new way to surprise me!

This year I honestly wasn't expecting much cause Matt had to work

on Valentine's day.

He NEVER has to work Saturday's, but there was a big 

conference going on and they needed 

volunteers for Saturday which also happened to be V-day

funny right? 

I was ok with it though because it meant that he could take a day off

the following week and we could have a little vacation.  

So on Friday night Matt was a little late getting home.

I figured he was probably getting me something ;)

In the mean time I was trying to see if Micah would hold this 

chocolate heart and hand it to daddy.

But he knows whats up..

He went right to eating it haha

When Matt walked in the door I gave the heart to Micah

and had him walk around the corner to hand it to Matt.

But Matt's hands were full with these beautiful flowers!

I love Matt's taste in flowers!

He always gets the coolest ones.

I LOVE getting flowers, but I hate it when they die!!

So he has started getting me potted flowers and 

it is the best.

And I mean how cute is this pot?? ^^

He also had with him a bunch of my favorite kinds of chocolate

and a card.. I thought it was just a normal card, 

but no! It was a gift certificate to a nail salon!

What??? 

Did I mention that he is the best?

So I was super happy with my V-day surprises.

but it wasn't over..

After dinner he said, I think you should go get your 

nails done tonight.

And I was like, really? 

haha honestly I just wanted to hang out with him.

But he insisted and so I went!

And let me tell you it was amazing!!

So relaxing and just what I needed.

And of course Matt being the awesome husband that he is 

had yet another surprise for me. 

He made this while I was gone!!

I had told him that I thought it would be cool to get an 

edible arrangement, but when he looked them up

he found out that they are super expensive.

So he just made one.

No big deal. haha

BEST. HUSBAND. EVER!!

He seriously is the sweetest.

I felt so spoiled!

So that was all the night before Valentines. 

On V-day I got to hang out with my littlest Valentine

while Matt went to work.

We spent the day eating all the fruit 

from the arrangement Matt made.

we also packed all day long in preparation for our 

mini president's day vacation.

As soon as Matt got home we were off!

I'm so grateful for my sweet husband and my 

little boy!! 

Words can't even say how much I love them :)
