Micah's 3rd Birthday

Like always I have a ton of blogging to catch up on, but I didn't want to skip over Micah's birthday so I'm gonna write about that. 

Micah is three!! So crazy and at the same time I feel like he's been three for a while haha 

He turned three over a month ago and it was a fun day.  

We went pretty all out on his 2nd birthday so this year we got him some stuff we knew he would love and just had a little party with just our family. 

It all started with a yummy breakfast... That he hated. haha He was so grumpy! I made him pancakes and strawberries and he freaked out and wanted cereal. So we gave him cereal.. but as you can see he still wasn't having it.. 

So that was a super fun start to his birthday! haha I learned that food is NOT the way to a Micah's heart.

So we let him calm down and get happy for a while before we gave him his presents.. 

Breakfast was a fail, but presents was a win!

We went to di and some yard sales and got a ton of little match box cars because its Micah's favorite thing. Then we lined them all up in a box. He loved it! 

He also got to open a present from my parents.. More cars! and a truck to put them in! 

Mason just sat and watched Micah open presents and just squealed and spitted and was so happy and excited

Micah played with those cars for the rest of the day.  And as he played we tackled a massive house project that we had been planning.  He was so wrapped up in his cars that he didn't even notice! win! 

That was Saturday.  On Sunday night we made his cake and gave it to him. 

Once again it was all about cars! Matt was the mastermind behind this cake.  A parking lot is the best cake Micah could ask for.

Now a few things about 3 year old Micah! 

As you already guessed he is super obsessed with all things cars! He loves toy cars and real cars alike.  One of his favorite things is playing in a parked car.  He also likes to go for rides in the car.  

Whenever he sees a really cool truck he will say, grampas truck!!

Micah loves new things and new places.  Including stores and parking lots and basically anything haha the problem is that he could literally stay anywhere for hours and hours.  We always have to drag him kicking and screaming from wherever we are.  

This kid definitely has a mind of his own.  He likes to do what he likes to do and he like to make everyone else do what he likes to haha he likes to choose what direction we go while driving or shopping or hiking, he likes so choose what toys Mason plays with, he likes to choose his own clothes, food, you name it haha and then when we try and get him to do something else he has a melt down.  Three is lots of fun! haha 

Even though three can be a challenge its also so fun! He gets so excited about going to the park or other things, he is talking a lot more and saying the funniest things.  He can also be the sweetest guy and the best helper (if its his idea lol) It's also fun to watch him actually want to be around and play with other kids.  

Oh another thing is that he is the pickiest eater! gah its driving me nuts! basically all he wants to eat is cereal and chocolate.  I'm not sure what to do cause if he doesn't get those things he pretty much doesn't eat and then he gets real cranky.  Every once in a while I can get some chicken or an apple down him and I consider that a real win! haha being a parent is crazy and hard and the best thing ever 

We sure do love our three year old!!
