Fall enjoyment

I've been trying to soak in every last bit of this beautiful fall. 

I keep thinking we need to get outside as much as possible cause it's bound to be 

freezing soon! But then it just stays warm! I'll take it!! I'm loving this weather and I'm

not ready for cold or snow yet!!

I took the boys on a couple little walks the other week in the beautiful weather with the beautiful trees and it was just plain ol' good for the soul. 

The first time we just went right above our house and hiked around for a little bit. 

Nothing too extreme because this usually ends up happening.. 

carrying both boys is a little much for me haha

When we got back into the car Micah tried to help Mason drink his bottle, 

I knew having two would pay off! 

The next day we ventured a little further and went up Provo canyon. 

And yes Micah is wearing the same shirt ha 

It was perfect cause the path was paved to I pushed a sleeping Mason in the stroller

and Micah walked. 

We were trying to get to the waterfall, but Micah kept catching glimpses of the river and trying

to get down to it.  He'd say water water!! And I'd be like, yea but lets find the waterfall. 

Mom, who needs a water fall when there is a river!! 

Eventually we ended up at this little pond and stayed there for a long time. 

There wasn't really any rocks so Micah settled on putting leaves in and then laughing 

like a mad man hahah

Then Mason woke up and joined the party 

Micah was excited to show him his leaves 

Can you spot the rock? its huge.. Also can you see his tongue sticking out? serious effort right there

He fell asleep on the way home and slept all while I made dinner 

Mission accomplished

So Micah has been obsessed with hampers lately (weird, I know)

He has this particular round hamper that he just loves to sit in!

He sits in it to eat..

For Scriptures..

Again to eat..

To watch tv..

And sometimes for no real reason.. Just to chill! 

Today he broadened his horizons and started sitting in other hampers, but I don't have 

any pictures.. hahahah love this funny, random boy!! 

My favorite pumpkin patch tradition

 Oh October.. Your just the best!! 

Matt keeps saying how October has become his favorite month. 

I might just have to agree with him.  

Perfect weather (at least this year) beautiful fall trees, and lots of fun

family activities going on. Whats not to love?? 

Last year we went to this place called kuwarhara farms and it was so fun! 

I was just planning on going anywhere this year, but Matt was like no we have to go back!

It's a tradition! So I said ok! and I'm SO glad we did. I seriously love this place so much, and they had even more fun things then they did last year. 

So first things first, we picked out pumpkins! 

We almost lost Micah cause he ran outside and saw the slides.. 

but you were supposed to buy your pumpkins first so we drug him back 

in and managed to get him excited about the pumpkins haha

It didn't take him long to run right to this yellow pumpkin and get super excited about it.

haha leave it to Micah to find the odd one out.  

So that set the theme for the year.  We all got odd, not your typical pumpkins and I'm in love with them. 

He was so excited about his pumpkin.  So much fun!!

Mason loves waving! 

As soon as we got the wagon to put the pumpkins in Micah took over haha

He thought that thing was so cool, and he was the only one allowed to pull it for the rest of the time. 

After we bought our pumpkins we headed out to play! 

They had bounce houses and slides and a little corn pit.  

Micah didn't care too much for the bounce houses, but he LOVED the corn pit! 

He jumped into the corn over and over and over. 

He was loving it!!

The boys had too much fun in that corn 

Well except Mason, he did not approve.  So we sat on the sidelines haha

And to top it all off they even had a corn maze! 

They had some more of those wagons at the corn maze and Micah didn't want to 

go in because he was having too much fun with the wagons..

So we grabbed him and ran into the maze and spun him around till he got lost haha

then we followed him and he took us right out! haha

Such a great evening!!
