Micah's 2nd Birthday Party

Now that it has been almost a month I will finally right about Micah's party!

I am so behind on blogging!! 

But this blog is my journal and I really want to try and it keep it updated

because I love being able to look back at things we've done

(and I'm the WORST at writing in a physical journal) 

Any way rant over, I've just been thinking about that haha 

SO Micah had a super fun party! 

I started planning a long time in advance because I was super sick 

and I just needed something fun to focus on and distract me. 

It all started when I was with a friend, and as we watched Micah obsess over every ball she said

that we should do a ball themed party.  I started to look more into it and realized

that, that would be super fun!!

Matt made super cute invitations and me and Micah went and handed them out
I would hand Micah the invitation and he would walk right up to the
door and start to knock. haha so cute!

As he knocked he would usually say, daddy! 

he went through a phase where everywhere we went he was hoping that 

daddy would be there.  Because I mean why would we even leave the house 

if it wasn't to find daddy?? 

So here are a bunch of pictures of his party :)  

I had a lot of fun making ball themed food 

Everyone was so sweet to bring Micah gifts! He got super spoiled

I thought making a round cake would be super hard, but it wasn't! 

When Micah saw it he said, Ball!! haha mission accomplished 

We had a ball pit that was a huge hit.  I think that was one of the best parts.

Watching all of the kids try and jump in was so funny. 

We also had bowling and a ball throwing game (that I didn't get pictures of)

One of the other favorite parts was the pinata!

We weren't sure if the kids would be old enough for a pinata, but they loved it!

Especially Micah! He could have hit that ball all day long 

and he just about didn't let any other kids have any turns! haha

So much joy! 

We gave him a couple turns since he was the birthday boy.

Once the pinata broke Micah was SO sad! 

He didn't even care about the candy, he just cried and cried cause the ball was broken 

haha poor baby 

After the pinata we had him sit down to open presents and he just sat there like this for a while..

hahaha Poor baby was tired!!

The first present he opened was some cars and they were so cool 

that he had no interest in opening anything else haha

I made the ball cake because I was hoping he would have more fun smashing a 

cake then he did on his first birthday. 

No such luck!! 

He had no desire to touch his cake, he just wanted to play with his new toys 

I guess having him smash a cake is just not something thats gonna happen haha

We had so much fun! It's still pretty crazy to think that I have a 2 year old, but he is the best :)
