A 2 year old Micah!

Well, it's official.  My baby is 2!! 

Does that mean he's not a baby anymore? haha

I think I will keep calling him baby till the

next baby comes. 

We took our little dude up into the mountains and 

had a little 2 year old photo shoot. 

He's so cute it just kills me! 

Here are some fun facts about Micah! 

1.  He is just a little guy.  When I took him in for his well check he was in the 19th percentile of height and the 14th of weight.  But hey that's progress cause he was in the 1st percentile of height last time I took him in haha Personally I love how little he is :) 

2.  He is can say a bunch of words now and you can tell that he's trying really hard to say new ones too.  He has a few words that he says that I have no idea what mean haha so we are trying to figure out communication a little better.. but it is SO nice to have him be able to tell me when he wants food and water and milk and stuff like that.  

3.  His main loves are rocks, balls, cars, and his bear.  The first thing he usually does when we go outside is look for a rock. 

4.  He calls normal cars just cars, but if it's a truck or something that is bigger he calls it a cool car 

5.  If he sees anything bigger then a truck he says choo choo!! 

6.  We have to be careful about what we say these days cause if he hears us say candy, watch tv, or paci it's all over.. So we have started using the Spanish words for whatever we don't want him to hear 

7.  Speaking of watching tv.. He has decided that, that is really fun and almost every time we sit on the couch he snuggles in and points at the tv and say watch george! (curious george is his fav)  I think my 1st trimester has a lot to do with his tv loving.. we watched more then usual while I was sick 

8.  For the longest time he would only say daddy.  But eventually he started saying mama! and I loved it so much, but recently when he's looking for me he says dad! dad! haha so Matt is daddy and i am dad?  haha I think he is starting to go back to calling me mama though.

9.  Micah is getting good at his animal noises!  I just love to see him learn stuff like that :) 

10.  Whenever we go into a public restroom he goes bah! really loud because he likes the way it echos

11.  We taught him how to do cheers and now he loves to reach out his glass/sucker/apple or whatever it is and say cheers!! 

12.  He is getting really good at putting his own pants on.  Probably because it is one of his favorite past times.. He gets all the pants out of his drawer and puts them in a pile and then sits in the middle and puts a pair on and then takes them off and puts another pair on haha

13.  He hasn't done it as much lately, but it used to be whenever Matt came home from work as soon as he walked in the door Micah would yell der dat daddy is!! haha so cute

14.  He and Matt have been attempting to play hide and seek and Micah is starting to catch on.  My favorite is when he finds Matt and yells there's daddy! 

15. Micah gives the sweetest kisses and hugs when he really wants to. 

16.  He is a big fan of nursery.  All I have to do is open the door and he runs in and never looks back, but when we go to pick him up he runs into our arms and gives us hugs.  Its the best. 

17.  Lately Micah throws EVERYTHING! If he picks it up he is probably going to throw it.  And one of his favorite places to throw things is down the stairs.. We are working on that. haha

18.  Whenever he finds my phone he puts it up to his ear and starts jabbering.  H also usually takes it into his room or mine and closes the door.. Already wanting to have private phone calls..

19.  Also whenever he finds my big camera he lifts it up (even though he can BARELY lift it cause its huge) and says cheese!! 

20.  Micah loves bath time, but the other day I gave him his dinosaur toys to play with in their and it freaking him out! They would go under the water and he would be so scared like they were going to bite him haha 

21.  He thinks my feet are super funny.  Whenever I'm sitting down with my feet up I'm usually wiggling them and he always comes over and laughs 

22.  He is getting to be pretty helpful.  Lately when he spills water I just give him a towel and he cleans it all up! 

23.  Randomly through out the day Micah will jump on his little truck that he scoots around and say bye bye! with the cutest little wave. So I will say bye bye love you! and he will say buh bye love oo!

24.  Lately whenever he walks into a room and sees me he says hi! I say hi baby! and then he'll say hi baby! haha he is definitely into copying. 

In case you were wondering I could go on about this kid all day :) 

He does so many little things that make me laugh! 

He brings us so much joy.
