8 Months!

This handsome guy is 8 months old!

At 8 months old he is a pro crawler, climber, and stander.

He doesn't get a whole lot of crawling practice though because he pretty much only crawls long enough to stand up on the next thing he can find. 

He isn't really happy unless he is standing on something..

 He was pretty proud of himself when he figured out how to stand up in his crib. 

He does lot of clapping and jabbering while he plays these days.  

And lately he has even started to growl 

He pretty much always has his tongue out.. 

I don't know if it's a teething thing or what

but I love it

Lately he must think I am abandoning him every time I leave his sight

He freaks out until he can see me again haha 

But I think he is starting to feel more at home in our new place because today he has been heading down the hall by himself and exploring. 

He loves food. 

He especially loves things that he can pick up himself

It keeps him very entertained.

"look mom no hands!"

We gave him his second hair cut on Sunday

I didn't want to cut off all his pretty hair, but after he got called a girl over and over again we decided maybe it was time (more like I gave in, Matt has wanted to for a while) 

Yea, it was super long. 

But as it turns out I love it short! It does make him look older tho.. Which is always a little sad.

The day we cut his hair.. (it really is a big deal around here haha)

The day he turned 8 months we went to Salt Lake to visit Auntie Sarah and we bought a couch! 

Happy 8 months!

I just love his little face in this one. 

Anyways I'm rambling now So I'll just call it good :)
