Great Basin National Park and the Farm

This past weekend we got to go camp at Great Basin National Park
I have never been to where we camped at and it was so cool!

We met my brother and his family there.
They found the coolest campsite that was in between two streams!

We even had our own personal bridge which the kids loved

by the way I forgot my real camera.. (I don't know how that happened
It's usually the one thing I make sure I have!) So I hope you
enjoy a bunch of phone pictures haha

We got there Thursday evening so all we really had time
for was setting up camp.
That night we visited around the fire
which is the best.

The next day we went on a hike that took us to 2 lakes

I know what your thinking.. Is that really in Nevada?? Yep, Nevada is beautiful :)

We made it to the first lake and within minutes the kids had their
pants and shoes off and they were in the water

This was the second lake.
We had a picnic here on the grass and it was perfect

cute cousins :)

The next morning part of the group hiked up to the summit of
Wheeler, which is the tallest peak in Nevada.
They left at like 4:30 that morning and they didn't really
want to pack kids on that hike so I stayed behind and packed up our stuff

As soon a they got back we headed for the farm.

We didn't get to stay at the farm very long,
but it was SO good to see my parents.
I just love going home and I miss it already

Micah and his cousin Brenden are only a month apart and
they are basically twins..
I was trying to get a picture of them together and while
Micah wouldn't even look at me
Brenny turned around and said Cheese! and gave me the best smile!
How do I trane Micah to do that?? haha

Such a great weekend!
Let's do it again soon :)
