Waiting for Baby

So I just love reading everyone else's blogs, but I never really think about updating my own.. But I figure I might as well do some updates since I have lots of time right now, but (hopefully) soon I will be very busy :)

So where to begin? Its been a while.. Well, as I'm sure everyone knows we are now living in Utah.  Provo to be more precise.  Here is us all packed up and ready to leave Idaho..

  It was a little crazy getting here because up until about a week before we moved we had no idea where we were going to live.  That was stressful.  Especially because I am pregnant and I just really wanted to have a place to live haha  Well luckily for us we have awesome cousins and they found us a place that is perfect! It has two big bedrooms and an a/c :) thats pretty much all I ever wanted and we love living here.  Our neighbors are all really friendly and our ward is awesome!

So I haven't really taken pictures of the inside, but here is our cute little yard.  Its awesome cause we are a little ways off of the street, and its really pretty! 

And here is Talon jumping on the tramp in the little yard.  She approved I think. 

So we got all moved in (once again with help from more awesome family)  and started to get all settled.  Did I mention that my amazing mom came and basically moved us single handed?  She is amazing.  I couldn't really lift anything so she did all of the heavy lifting with Matt. Not to mention driving a truck and a trailer all over the country.  We couldn't have done it without her! 

So we moved in on Thursday, and found out that night that there was no hot water.  So we called the people to turn on the gas and they said ok we will come over on Monday.  Then we also found out that the shower head wasn't working (my mom was the one to discover all of this at once by the way haha poor mom).  So we got a plummer to fix that and he said don't take any showers till Sunday.  So cold baths it was!  I tried to just pretend like I was swimming.. that didn't really work haha

Despite our showering issues we had a fun weekend.

It was amazing! Annnd now I'm going to crave it haha 

On Sunday we got a surprise visit from my brother and his family (thus the picture of Talon on the tramp) So they got to see where we lived and everything, and it was super fun to see them. Getting to see family is always the best :)

We got all settled that weekend and then on Monday Matt started his new internship! 

So for his first day he had to go to the church office in Salt Lake.  Right away we were super glad that he wouldn't have to drive to salt lake every day!

The picture doesn't even seem so bad, but the traffic was crazy.  Its a good thing we left super early. 

Isn't he handsome? I was so excited and proud of him that I just had to take lots of pictures!  

We are so blessed that he gets to work for the church!  It has already been such a great experience for him!  He loves his job and I love seeing him so happy :)

So now Matt goes to work everyday and I try to get things ready for Micah!  Its crazy how long a simple task takes me these days.. 

Building this shelf for instance..

This thing took me forever!  Everyday I would try so hard to get it built because I couldn't really organize anything in Micah's room without it.  Bending over and moving around is not very easy these days and so I would work on it for a little while everyday and then I would have to take a nap haha pretty sad.. But I did it! I was so proud of myself! 

So getting the house organized and growing this baby occupied most of my days. 

That weekend we went on a little hike.  

The Mountains here are SO beautiful! We can't get over how awesome they are.

I couldn't make it very far without a rest, so they rolled over this rock for me to sit on while they hiked a little farther :)

And of course Matt found a cave to go explore. 

Its been really fun checking out the area.  It makes me sad that I can't hike very far, or even drive very far haha because there is so much to do and see!  But oh well, we will get to it all someday I'm sure. 

So the next weekend My cousin Josh came to visit us.  We went and picked him up from the airport in Salt Lake.. On the way back we got some Chick fil' A 

I got this strawberry milkshake and it was the most amazing thing ever! So good that i had to take a picture.. haha Being pregnant makes everything taste SOO good!  Seriously.  Just ask Matt, I am always telling him how everything I eat is the most amazing thing I've ever tasted.  Its awesome, but also it makes it hard to not just eat all day long..  Anyways.. 

Of course the first thing we did when we got back was go on a little bike ride. I didn't ride, I just took pictures. 

They did some pretty awesome jumps.. 

So the next day they went on another ride, and I texted my other cousin Sarah and I was like so I wish you were here cause Josh is here and that would just be fun.  And she said, ok I'll come! haha So she came down that night!  It was super fun to have both of them here!  Then late on Sunday night all of Josh's family came.  So we had 8 extra people in our little apartment.  It was awesome! There were beds on pretty much every available inch of floor space. 

We had lots of fun on Monday. 

We went to the new provo rec center which was lots of fun.  (once again all I could really do was float in the lazy river, but it was fun to watch everyone)  We are cool cause we have matching shirts. :) 

Unfortunately the fun was cut short by the flu that night.  Matt and I never got it, but everyone left as soon as they felt up to it the next day.  very sad, cause we were having so much fun with them here! 

So the next weekend we spent most of the time getting ready for Micah.  We went out and got a few things that we were missing and we put together his room and even got a tour of the hospital!  It was really nice and it made me feel so much better to be a little more prepared.  

In preparing for Micah we realized that we better go on a date while we still could! 

It was really fun.  I just love my husband :)

So on Monday my Aunt and Uncle came! (have I mentioned how much I love having family come?) They took us to Tuscanos.  Oh man, once again, best food ever!  We all ate so much that we just about didn't make it out of the restaurant.  The best part was the chocolate cake.  oh my goodness. So good.  I need to stop thinking about it haha.  So they spent the night with us which was super fun! Wish we could have spent even more time with them, but I had a doctors appointment the next day.. 

Speaking of appointments they told me that nothing is really happening.  Micah seems to be pretty content right where he's at haha but I'll be 39 weeks on Sunday! So thats crazy.

hahaha this is what I saw when I walked past the bathroom last night.. Matt has been cleaning the pack and play that we bought and it has turned into a several day project haha this is him trying to get all of the water out of the mat.  hahahah it made me laugh really hard, I just love that guy.
