Random Updates :)

So I have been trying to take a picture every Sunday of Micah in this chair in the mother's lounge (we spend a lot of time in there)  I just love his little church outfits and its fun to see how he's grown! So here are the ones I have so far.. I haven't gotten one every week, but I have quite a few.

We are getting pretty good at going to church these days.  I usually only have to go to the mother's lounge once now and we even made it to the end of relief society this past week! yay!

Speaking of Sunday.. We keep forgetting to hand our tithing in (its all ready we just forget to hand it to them!) So I told Matt to tape it to his forhead.. He took that very literally. haha  

And now for a few more things about Micah.. This is how shopping goes these days because I am too paranoid to put him up on the little seat part of the shopping cart.. haha he doesn't seem to mind too much.  (except that he really doesn't love being in his car seat) 

Ok cutest thing ever. Nana (Matt's mom) got Micah this little bear blanket thing (we call him rocky) and Micah loves it! We always give it to him and he grabs him and sucks on him or just holds him. I just love it. 

I just love taking pictures of these two :) Micah and his friend Jocelyn. I just call them friends because She is Matt's cousin's daughter and I have no idea what kind of a relation that makes them haha

So this is what happens these days when I try to put Micah in his bouncy chair without strapping him in.. He is so wiggly he just scoots right out of it! 

I can pretty much guarantee he was playing with matt in this picture.. that kid loves his daddy :)

So on Saturday we decided to go on a drive.. We ended up on the hill looking at all the awesome houses and this fantastic view!! All I had was my phone so the pictures aren't that great, but it was seriously the coolest thing ever! I could definitely handle having that to look at every day out my window :)

2 Months

So Micah is actually more like 2 1/2 months old.. It takes me a while to blog things.. but anyways here is a few of Micah's 2 month pictures! 

I put his little two month sign in his had and he just held it!

He is a super cute 2 month old :)

He still loves to stretch and its a good thing because its my favorite thing ever 

                   This kid LOVES his changing table!  Especially when he is getting changed by daddy :) 

So on the day Micah turned two months he got blessed :) And his little second cousin Jocelyn got blessed on the same day.  They were so cute!

All of my siblings were able to come! 

It was so fun to have everyone here!  We did lots of fun things while everyone was here (Micah pretty much slept through everything) 

A whole bunch of my family was able to make it! I was overwhelmed with all of the support and love :) I'm so grateful to have such an awesome family! 

(There was Tons of Matt's cousins, aunts, and uncles there too! unfortunately we didn't get a picture with all of them) 

Micah also got to hang out with his cousin Brenden.  They are only a month apart, so we are pretty positive that they are going to be bestest friends. 

So here are a few things about two month old Micah..

He isn't a huge fan of naps.. He would only take naps if he was being driven around in his carseat for a while, but lately I think I am starting to get it figured out!  I wrap him up and give him a paci and hold him for a little while, and then I lay him down and he usually puts himself to sleep.  Its awesome! He will usually only sleep for 30 minutes tho.. haha but hey its a start..

He is always super happy in the mornings.  Its so fun to wake up to such a happy sweet baby.  Lately we have been getting up to go watch daddy shave.  He always watches super intently haha its funny 

Speaking of which Micah just loves his daddy!  If Matt is talking Micah will look around till he find him and then he smiles, its so cute.  Matt doesn't even have to be looking at him Micah will just stare at him and smile. 

Micah is also getting really good at grabbing things.  Especially my hair.. he always seems to find just one or two hairs so it always hurts haha 

He is also getting super strong! he can hold his head up really good and he can stand up for quite a long time.  I can't believe how big my baby is getting! 

I knew that I would love being a mom, but I had no idea I would love it this much!  Its by far the best thing I have ever done!  I'm so glad that my wonderful husband wants me to just stay home with our kids because there is absolutely nothing else I would rather do :)  I just love my life and my little family!
