Life is good :)

So I feel like its time for an update.. Mostly just a picture update because I've been going through pictures and there are some good ones that I wanna share! So, enjoy! :)

So this is us at a campfire the other day.. Its finally getting nice enough to do outside things! We have actually been drying wood in our house for some time now because we wanted to have a fire so bad.. And we finally did it!

We were having fun messing around with the camera..

We went on a Sunday drive the other day. We were looking for the house the Matt's Grandpa grew up in.. Although we didn't find it we did have lots of fun :)

There were all these huge puddles and some of them made these sink holes and then flowed under the road.. It was pretty neat..

Ok So now for the REALLY good news! We got this deal where if we buy our season passes to targhee for next season right now we got it at like a SUPER good price and we get to go for the rest of this season for free! awesome! Oh and also we can use it all this summer to go hiking and mountain biking and stuff.. So we went snowboarding on Saturday.. It was my first time to Targhee and it was way fun!

Gotta love those Tetons! Especially sense We got engaged up there :) they have a special place in my heart haha

So yea, basically life is really great and we are loving every moment!

Snowboarding update? ok!

We mostly snowboard at night.. We show up around four and then Matt teaches a lesson so by the time he gets done its pretty much dark.. Its way fun!

Matt's first check from Kelly Canyon! He was sooo excited because he's getting payed to snowboard! (he didn't even want me to cash it haha) Pretty much super awesome.. So because he teaches lessons he gets free lift tickets for both of us just for showing up, and then he gets payed for every lesson he teaches which pretty much covers fuel to get up there.. so basically we snowboard for free! awesome!

He's probably contemplating some sort of crazy run off the back side of Kelly... :) I just love that guy!

I nicknamed our boards cuss (said with a slight western accent, like as if it were a cowboys dog.. hahaha) and nu (pronounced new).. Cause he has a Burton Custom and I have a Gnu.. I think Matt thought it was a little strange at first, but he's getting used to it :) yep life is good.

Happy Valentines Day! Well, a couple of days ago.. I just thought I'd post some pictures of our first valentines day! It was so fun to celebrate valentines and have an excuse to do some fun things.. I just love my husband, he is so sweet to me!

So First off Matt surprised me with flowers and a symphony bar when he came home from his lunch break! So sweet :)

And then Matt had to go back to work (sadness)

So after work and class we went on a date to Idaho falls.. We watched Mission Impossible 4 (and loved it!)

We also went and ate at Olive Garden, it was way fun and soo yummy

And So that was the end of our awesome valentines day :) It was so fun! I love my husband he is the best! He made the day so special, I'm so lucky to have him for forever :)

21!!

Thats right I'm 21 now! Can you believe it? I can't.. But I had the best birthday ever! It all started out with waking up and opening up Matt's present for me.. Well first off he got the whole day off from work! That was my favorite present :) but anyways we got up and I opened my present.. He got me three awesome movies, one of which I didn't even know you could get on dvd! So I was excited. Then we made breakfast; pepperoni, hot dog, and rice omelets! (matt's idea) haha they were actually really good!
So I hadn't really thought too much about having a party, but that morning I decided that I would invite everyone over that night for a little get together. As it turns out Matt had been planning a surprise party since the day before.. So all of these people I was inviting had already been invited to a different party. So Matt had to try and make sure everyone new that the surprise party was still on without me getting suspicious haha. And I did get suspicious because he was texting all morning. But he had changed my sisters name to one of his friends and so when I asked him who he was texting he was like oh its just Jeff, and I totally bought it haha. So anyways we went snowboarding that afternoon, which was lots of fun as usual! but we ended up having to wait around for a long time for Matt to teach a lesson, and then by the end of his lesson it was around seven and the surprise party was set for seven thirty. So when he finally gets done he was like alright lets go home, and I was like, but I want to go on another run! But he told me he was tired (Matt NEVER gets tired and he ALWAYS wants to go on another run) I thought that was a little strange, but the lines were long and we were going up again on Friday so I was like ok lets go. So we go home and he gives me the keys and says I can take some stuff up while he grabs the snowboards.. So I walk into our dark house and there's streamers everywhere! I was like wo how did he manage that? And then everyone jumped out and said surprise! I was super surprised! which is saying something cause I'm kind of a hard person to surprise.. haha but Matt really pulled it off! So we had a fun party and that pretty much was the end of my awesome birthday! I had so much fun and I am soooo grateful for my amazing husband :) He is so good to me! I just love him more and more everyday!

We called that bush the birthday bush and put my present under it..

We went to kiwi loco and they gave me free frozen yogurt and a balloon!

Our House

So its been quite a while since we moved, but I thought I'd put up some pictures of our place! We love it here it has been soooo nice! So here is the story.. We lived in a little (very very little) basement apartment before this one; we loved it because it was our own little place and it was cute and nice and we got it for a good price. But it was underground. I felt like I was suffocating down there! Every day Matt would go to work and I would just hang out down there by myself. So we kind of started looking at places, but not very seriously. We figured we couldn't beat the deal we were getting so we'd probably just stick it out and live there till we go to the farm. But then I was on craigslist one day and there was an apt for 350 a month! So Matt called them and we ended up being the first one to call about it so we went over and saw the apt and it was huge! We immediately loved it and wanted it, but the owners said they had to talk to some other people and then the next week they'd let us know who got the apt. We figured that there was no way we would be the ones they chose to give it too so we kinda forgot about the whole thing. But then the next week they called us and wanted us to come meet the owner. So we came and met him still not thinking that we'd get the place, but then all of a sudden he was like alright its yours when do you want to move in? Now mind you we hadn't even sold our other place. We just put it up earlier that afternoon.. But we figured we could do it so we told them we'd move in in a couple of days.. So by some miracle we sold our place the next morning around 10 A.M and we were almost all the way moved into our new house that day. Thanks to my Awesome aunt and uncle that happened to be in town! So within about 36 hours we went from not really even planning on moving to living in a different house! We love it, its got a big living room, its upstairs, and we have a guest room! We are so blessed and we are so grateful for how well everything worked out!

Snowboarding!!

So I went snowboarding for my first time on Tuesday!  I was a little scared to try and learn because, well, it just scares me! haha but My husband is the best teacher I could ever ask for!  He's been teaching snowboarding lessons for about three years now so he knows whats up.  So we didn't know, but it turns out that the ski resort we went to is only open half of the day on weekdays.  So we showed up around eleven and it didn't open till twelve thirty, so we ended up just hiking the bunny hill.  We were planning on sticking to the bunny hill anyways so it wasn't so bad, but it was tiring!  It was totally worth it though!  We had a lot of fun and Matt said I did pretty good for a beginner, but I just felt like I was mostly just out of control... haha but it was way fun and I'm excited to go again!
